The DILC is pleased to announce the following free training workshops for the faculty and REPS:
Online Course Management: The University Virtual Learning Environment (UVLe) - 13 September 2010, 2-5 pm. This workshop demonstrates how an online course management system like the UVLe can enhance academic instruction, ease class management routines, and encourage student participation.
Busting Plagiarism - 27 September 2010, 2- 5pm. This workshop examines the pedagogical issues involved in plagiarism and intellectual dishonesty. Faculty participants will learn to detect plagiarism with the aid of electronic tools and know the legal basis for busting plagiarism and intellectual dishonesty. This workshop will be streamed live to other UP constituent universities. Workshop details here.

“UP NEC 2004 – 2010: Directors’ Report” is streamed live on May 24, 2010, 1- 5pm from the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, Magsaysay St., University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. The UP National Engineering Center is presenting highlights of the last six-year-milestones of her 32-year history to its various stakeholders.
